Set in a peaceful woodland location with a beautiful freshwater stream and birds chirping, it's a great place to relax and unwind. the staff at the bar were friendly and the food at the restaurant was stunning. the lodges were well-equipped and clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Checking in and out was easy, and the map provided was helpful in finding the lodge.

There were a few issues during our stay. the lack of WiFi for the entire duration of our stay was disappointing.

We had trouble with the shower, as it fluctuated between hot and cold temperatures. the water pressure was also low, making it difficult for all of us to shower in the morning.

I had a wonderful stay at the Cornwall Countryside Lodges in Gunnislake. The layout of the lodge was fantastic, with a spacious living area and a well-equipped kitchen. I especially enjoyed the balcony, where I could sit and soak in the morning sun. The location of the lodge was also great, as it was surrounded by beautiful trees, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The lodge was clean, tidy, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed to feel right at home. Additionally, the property was conveniently located near Lillie Park, which was a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll and admiring the water cascades. I had a pleasant experience and would recommend staying at this lodge.

One drawback was that the outdoor pool was small and dirty, with a lot of hair in it. The indoor pool was also quite small and often partially blocked off for swimming lessons, which limited availability for guests.
